International expansion plans for thevoicefactory after £500,000 Finance Wales investment

Communications company, thevoicefactory (TVF) is planning an international expansion thanks to a £500,000 loan from Finance Wales.  The deal will create six new jobs here in Wales; the company currently employs 24 staff.

Based in Nantgarw, Cardiff TVF provides a variety of integrated communications products to the hospitality, leisure, automotive and legal sectors – they are the only UK communications company to offer white label communications solutions to the market. The expansion will see the company move to bigger premises, with new offices opening in March.

The business currently operates in 21 European countries including France, Germany and Italy and recently launched in the US where they have already opened their first two bases one in Florida and the other in California.

Managing Director Paul Harrison said: “We have grown significantly over the last three years and with the investment from Finance Wales we are able to go for international growth in the US and Asia. Our international growth plan will lead to more jobs in both the US and here in Wales.”

Finance Wales Senior Portfolio Executive Leanna Davies said: “We’re pleased to be backing a dynamic business in a growing sector.  TVF has a capable and insightful management team led by Paul Harrison, and has the vision and technology to achieve their ambitious growth plans.”

Finance Wales was introduced to TVF by Knight Corporate Finance who helped structure the deal. Paul Billingham Director said: “TVF is a fast growing company but was constrained by a lack of funding. We introduced the business to Finance Wales who understood their requirements quickly and structured a funding package that will enable the business to grow and develop.”

Funding for the deal came from the Wales Business Fund, a European Regional Development Fund and Welsh Government-backed £136m fund.
