Finance Wales’ employees paint seafarers’ mission

Seven members of our new investments
team helped make Cardiff's Mission to Seafarers ship-shape by
painting its exterior.
Karen Davies, investment executive, explained: “We decided to do
something to support the community as a team-building
exercise.”
The mission was first built in 1866 at the Old Bute West Dock
before moving to its current home at Roath Dock. It’s the oldest of
its kind in the UK and still provides a range of facilities to help
visiting seafarers feel at home in the port.
Alan Lewis, who runs the mission, said: “We’re grateful to the
Finance Wales team for giving up their time. The mission looks a
lot more welcoming.”
